Тут есть важный нюанс: когда мы спрашиваем человека о том, есть ли у него вообще такой опыт, используем Present Perfect, но вот как только начинаем обсуждать этот повод более детально, переходим в Past Simple и другие времена Past:
Have you ever been to Paris?
Yes, I have?
When did you go?
We went in 2006.
Вы когда-нибудь были в Париже?
Да, я был.
Когда вы ездили?
Мы ездили в 2006 году.
Я специально показала несколько разборов фраз из реальной жизни и предлагаю вам тоже обращать внимание на случаи использования Present Perfect, стараться объяснять себе их по примеру моих пояснений, и совсем скоро – буквально через пару месяцев, лет или десятков лет – вы все поймете.
Если серьезно, времена часто доходят до нас по-настоящему постфактум. Мы долго читаем правила, делаем задания, но проходит время, мы где-то слышим какой-то кусочек речи или песню, и вот тут-то нас и озаряет: а, так вот что это было! Вот зачем это время!
Для этого надо просто продолжать читать, смотреть и слушать на английском, и вы обязательно поймете и, главное, прочувствуете это время. Я в вас верю! И всегда верила в своих читателей и учеников: I have always believed in my readers and students!
